The Invitation

We were invited by the Dean of the Business School to design and facilitate an in-person workshop for their strategic planning team to envision a future for the school that aligns with its societal impact goals. We invited the opportunity for participants to strengthen their capacities, dispositions, resilience, and stamina for change.

Context

Our work was part of a larger strategic planning effort that had resulted in robust societal impact goals. The purpose of our workshop was to help them access inspiring future visions to unite around to motivate sustained action. 

SOLUTIONS

We used Three Horizons to help participants understand the trappings of the status quo to be able to envision futures free from unperceived limitations. The group envisioned futures across three time horizons spanning 25-75 years into the future.
